Easter Weekend in Bexhill

Easter Weekend in Bexhill

It’s the first bank holiday of the year since Christmas. It’s the one we all look forward too… it’s Easter! Friday 10 – Monday 13 April. Fingers crossed the sun is shining, the blue skies are out and the sea will be glistening over the Easter weekend in Bexhill.

What have you got planned over the weekend? No matter how the weather turns out, we have something to do in all weather types (we are relying on the UK weather after all).

Al fresco dining

Our Beach Terrace officially opens on Wednesday 1 April. Which means it will be open for Easter, making it a great place to eat/relax in Bexhill. There’s a delicious new seasonal menu available. Choose from meze platters, traditional fish & chips, 4 different salads plus much more. Our candyfloss sundae is a must try too!

Other Easter weekend dining options

Our Brasserie on the Beach, Tavern Kitchen and Café Bar will all be open over the Easter weekend. Each have a different feel but all serve tasty seasonal food. Keep scrolling to find out about each of the three eateries.

  • Brasserie on the Beach is where you can enjoy contemporary dining experience. A new menu launched on 21 February with a combination of lovely seasonal dishes and returning favourites. We’ll also be serving our succulent Sunday roasts on Easter Sunday – book your table to avoid disappointment.
  • Tavern Kitchen, a relaxed ‘pub like’ atmosphere. Serving hearty fare, traditional ales including daily blackboard specials.
  • Our Café Bar is a great spot for an informal drink or bite to eat. Why not enjoy a slice of cake and a pot of tea? Alcoholic beverages are also available.

All of our menus include vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.

Our Gin Palace (set within our Café Bar) will also be open throughout the Easter weekend. Featuring 18 artisan gins including Brighton Gin, The Botanist Gin, Rhubarb Gin and more. You can choose from 9 specialist and flavoursome Fever-Tree mixers to create a tasty tipple.  If you’re the designated driver or prefer to be alcohol-free, you can choose one of our mocktails.

Tea for two

You can’t quite beat an afternoon tea (think of the scones!). Since it’s a bank holiday/Easter weekend it would be rude not to add a glass of champagne. We also have a Children’s afternoon tea available too.

Our afternoon tea is served daily between 3pm and 5pm (4pm – 5pm on Sunday’s). Please make your reservation advance.

Stay the night over the Easter Weekend

Make your Easter weekend extra special by enjoying an overnight stay – it’s a bank holiday after all! We offer single, double, twin and family accommodation (interconnecting rooms available). Sea view rooms can also be booked. All of our hotel rooms have ensuites, come with complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities and have free Wi-Fi plus much more.

The location…

We’re directly on the beach, which means you must have a beach stroll before of after your visit. Hopefully you’ll be able to catch a few rays and of course, admire the beautiful view. If your four legged friend will be joining you on your walk our Tavern and Beach Terrace are dog friendly, so please feel free to bring them along.

Will you be spending your Easter weekend visiting Bexhill? We’d love to see you!
